"O Come, All You Unfaithful"

I have sung “O Come, All Ye Faithful” about 700 times. I love singing it, though a certain worship pastor/friend (hey, Adam!) always made me sing about 3 verses too many and I thought I wouldn’t survive, though being dramatic about it helped.
But when someone messaged me with a song by Sovereign Grace Music called “O Come, All You Unfaithful,” I gasped at a familiar, beloved thing flipped on its head. In a year in which many of us do not feel faithful, joyful, and triumphant, the lyrics of this new song cracked my heart open. “Oh come, all you unfaithful / Come, weak and unstable / Come, know you are not alone.” I have listened to it no less than 500 times, and I have been totally captivated by the gospel because of this song. It is almost constantly playing at my house.
Anyway, it’s taken over my house in more ways than that, because I went wild on my iPad (I know you’re shocked), and created several graphics that scroll on our Apple TV screensaver and one that I printed at Walgreens (24x36 poster* is cheap + quick art!) that hangs above Granddaddy’s sugar chest. This message has saturated everything, and wouldn’t you know it? I get to sing it at church on Sunday, Lord willing. I am undone.

*Look for coupon codes before you check out! I usually only have to pay $15, and it’s often ready the same day. Amazing! The ones I’ve gotten have always turned out great. 24x36 is a standard poster size, so you can get a frame just about anywhere. If you’re wanting to use them as a slideshow on your TV, this website helped me figure it out.
