Regularly, I ignore my family in favor of doodling. My husband will ask me a question, and I'll say, "SHHH! I'm busy," and continue on in doodle heaven. Truly, writing and doodling are just about the only antidote for my obscenely high word count, and doodling, unlike writing, doesn't require my brain, which is struggling these days.

My daughter is not great at sharing her MagnaDoodle, so I have often scooped it up excitedly at 7:01 p.m. after the non-sharer is tucked away in bed. Thankfully, my husband gifted me with more adult doodling tools this Christmas, and as it turns out, I am also bad at sharing. Of course this gift has done wonders for that obscenely high word count, and now I ignore my husband all the time. Part of me suspects that this was his plan all along, and I think he might be a smidge grateful that we can now converse at normal rates.

Anyway, in an attempt to make this doodle obsession productive, I created three free wallpapers that you can save and set up as a Valentine's Day themed background for your phone, if you so choose.
